For 20 years, Alice worked with some of the wealthiest and most influential people on the planet. After burnout and a lot of self reflection, She discovered audiobook narration, took a RADA course, and registered on ACX.

 

In 18 months, Alice recorded dozens of books with 5 star Audible reviews, won an international audio award and established herself as one of the most prominent new voices in audiobook narration with over half a million social media followers.

 

Alice is co-founder of the #saveourvoicesnow campaign – lobbying for greater UK protections from AI voice cloning. She narrates books alongside coaching new audiobook narrators, via her Speaks and Squeaks community, and SockettStudiosMastering.

 

Daniel trained as a sound engineer in 1998. He is an audiobook mastering specialist: providing professional mastering and production services and coaching new audiobook narrators on mastering mastering! Daniel is the author of ‘Audiobook Recording, Editing, and Mastering for Beginners’.

 

Daniel asked Alice out at a charity beer festival in 2004. They have been married since 2010 and live with their two sons and Jack Russell terrier, Mabel, on the coast of South West Wales (UK).
